Data controller

Data we process

  • Scan data: the URLs you submit, the text extracted from those pages, the results, and the IP address of the request (used to apply the free-plan limit).
  • Account data: your email address, your plan, and the identifiers Stripe returns for your subscription.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
  • Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4, only if you consent.

Why we process it

Performance of the contract (running scans, giving you access, billing), our legitimate interest (preventing abuse of the free plan, keeping the service secure), your consent (audience measurement), and our legal obligations (accounting records).

How long we keep it

  • Scan data: 12 months, then deleted automatically by a scheduled job.
  • Account and subscription data: for the life of the subscription, then 3 years.
  • Invoices: 10 years, as French commercial law requires.
  • Audience measurement: 14 months.

Who else processes your data

  • o2switch SAS (France) — hosting.
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland), with Stripe Inc. (United States) — payment, invoicing and VAT handling.
  • Google Ireland Ltd, with Google LLC (United States) — audience measurement, only after consent.

Transfers to the United States (Stripe Inc., Google LLC) rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on those providers' certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]; we answer within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority: CNIL, 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — www.cnil.fr. If you live in another EU country, you may complain to your own supervisory authority.

Pages you ask us to scan

We read the pages you submit as an ordinary visitor would, and we keep the extracted text only for the duration stated above. We do not resell scan data and we do not use it to build any public directory.
